#4 Ten Days of Christmas

   

   

   Hello again! We are back with the next Ten Days of Christmas day!! Okay, today, the 3rd day, we are going to do....WHAT? Well, let me tell you. I know I need to tell you, so I'll tell you before you burst. It's okay, stop worrying. Here...

Illumination, hu? Long word, and complicated to spell. I wonder, what does it mean? OHH!! It probably means light. Okay. Light. What do I like that is light. Hmmmm. Okay, well, here are some things that I like. 

1. Christmas Lights

   Those Christmas lights aren't from any around here, I don't think, but it's Christmas lights sooo yeah. I LOVE Christmas lights because they sparkle and they put on a nice feeling of Christmas. They make you want to take a stroll down the street. They are SO beautiful!!

2. Christmas Tree Lights

    I love Christmas tree lights because they give the tree a nice bright sparkly look to it, and it makes it feel homey. It makes the tree lights up, and it makes you feel... I don't know. It makes you feel happy? Happy. I think that is what I am thinking. The third thing is...

3. Christmas Tree Star

   To me, it represents the star that was above the stable where Jesus was born. That's why I don't really like it when people put other stuff on trees other than that. Don't get me wrong. I also like angels, but I think stars are best. They are one beautiful, and they are the best. Plus it stand for the huge star that guided the wise men. Fourth...

4. Candles

    I love scented candles. Depending on the smell though. I also love them for the beautiful homey look they give off. They can be dangerous, but if you know how to take care of one, then you are okay...if you are that is. I also love them because it's like they are a bright spot in the dark, like Jesus...Okay, fifth one...

5. The Bible

   The Bible. How can the be an illumination thing you may ask? Well, it is. It holds the story about Jesus and how he came to earth and died on the cross for me. Me. Me, out of like 7 billion people. And I wasn't even born yet! ME. He came to earth as a baby, left his glorious throne for me... The light of my life is Jesus. Jesus. And I love him so much, I would be willing to do anything for Him. His birth was the greatest thing that happened in history. He is the ultimate light of the world. He was then and He is now.

#3 Ten days of Christmas

    

    Hey guys!! Back again! Okay, we are know on the 3 day!! Isn't that amazing?? It seems just like yesterday that it was the 2 day... Anyway, todays letter is...R! Hmmmmmmmmmm...I wonder...what does that stand for? Hmmm, let me get it! Oh! It's stuck in all my stuff in...oh my! What a mess! Here...

   Oh my, trying to find that was...hu, you probably don't want to...never mind. Anyway, red, green, and White hu? Hmmm. What do I like best of red? Ummm, interesting...                                                         

  Okay...my favorite red things are...red berries, red ornaments, and red trucks, like the ones that carry trees. Umm, red snow jacket, red candies,  and red pjs. Here are some pics...

   Alright, is it green or white? Doesn't matter. I'll do... WHITE! Alrighty, I like, snowy Christmas's, snow ball fights, white socks, white ice cream, a mountain with snow on top. Here are some pics.                    

Now we only have green left. Hmmm, well, we might as well jump in... Okay, green trees, green blankets,  green holly, green wreaths, green glasses, and green scrunchies.

   The glasses aren't exactly green, but they can be counted as green I guess. I hope you all like these.

   Hey guys! I am sooooooooo sorry for not writing the post today, but I was doing something else Christmasy yesterday. I was decorating our tree!! We also got a tree for our grandparents... sooooo, yeah, it took a while to get home. Now, down to business...this next post is about...

First Day Of The Ten Days Of Christmas!!

 

   I can't believe it is already December! It seems like just a few days ago that it was November. Anyway, lets get down to the exciting stuff. Ten Days of Christmas is already upon us (or rather me).                                                                                                                  

   Day one: Carols                                                                                                                                             Alrighty, I am going to name five carols. My first one is O Little Town Of Bethlehem.

   I don't know why I like this one so much. It is one of my favorites. I guess I like it best because it is such a great song, plus it tells of the Savior, so maybe it's that...I don't know.

   Why I like this one so much is because it is sooooo beautiful! I love it a LOT! this is definitely one of the more common songs, but t is still beautiful...

   This is also a beautiful song. I LOVE this one too, for many reasons. One...it makes me feel happy. Two, it talks of the birth of Jesus.

This one is... also VERY nice. I would sing this one a lot when I was younger, trying to make it sound like a new song. Like adding new notes that where never there. kind of like harmonizing, but not as good...

   THIS one is sooooooooo one of my favorites. This one has beautiful sound to it, and it also has GREAT lyrics. 

   All these songs I have caroled with. When we where at our old church, a HUGE group of people would gather and we would all get song sheets. We would go around the neighborhood, going a few miles from the church, and singing to almost all the houses. Sometimes people would answer, sometimes not. It would grow dark and cold, making us all start to shiver. But we would keep going till sometime before or after dinner time. i can't remember. One time, I remember me and one of my siblings where behind the group, and I thought we were lost (I was like 6 or 7.) I was sooo afraid that we would be lost forever. 

   Oh, and at the end of singing for each house we would sing a little thingy. it's called We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Here is the lyrics:

Ten Days Of Christmas

    Hello again! I'm sorry for not doing a post yesterday, but I realize it probably was for the best. I can't give you any more snippets, sooo yeah. Anyway, I am here to tell you of a Christmas party thing Beyond the Literary Horizon is hosting. :D It's called Ten Days of Christmas. 

      I am super excited, and I hope you guys enjoy it. :) Anyway, I got to go, so bye!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

   Hey guys! Happy Thanksgiving!! Alrighty, I am doing only ONE post this week. You probably already know that from a post last week. Anyway, I am going to do only a thanksgiving post.

    I made this banner for a reason. Lets start off!!

   Happy thanksgiving folks!! How are you today? I hope you are great. Anyway, today, people think as Thanksgiving as a time to eat yummy food, and going to other peoples houses. In a way it is, I mean, yes it is eating good food and visiting . . . but it also has a purpose. The purpose for it is that we are thanking God for all our blessings, and for all that he has given us. The idea was started by the pilgrims when they got to the New World. They had a huge feast with the Indians because they where praising God for helping them through the first few years. George Washington was the first to call the U.S.A to do thanksgiving on November 26, 1789. That is when it basically started. 

   THAT is the true meaning for thanksgiving. Giving thanks to God. 

   Alright, I am going to ask some questions of you. How many things can you find to be thankful for? How many things can you count? If you do count them, the list will go on and on. we have a thousand reasons to be thankful for. I'm going to list off a few, and in the comments, if you want to, you can write in the comments what somethings you are grateful for.

Alrighty, I am grateful for...

-Family

-Friends

-My house

-My church

-The comforts of home, such as a couch a table, ect. ect.

-The country I live in

-Trees

-The Bible

-Jesus 

And that is just a few things folks. I have lots more. God has given us all these gifts, and we should be thankful for them all, even the stuff we don't like. Like COVID. It may be hard, but we should still give thanks. In the Bible it says this...

1 Thessalonians 5:18

!n everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

And...

1 Chronicles 16:34

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

   We should give thanks to him forever, even in trouble. I hope you guys like this post!! I am going to finish this off with these questions.

#3 Favorite Authors

   OH MY!!! I am sooooo sorry for not making the next post. I had meant to, but then I forgot. Anyway, let's get on with the post. I have 4 favorite Authors I want to show you. My first one is...Angie Thompson! 

   Now this book is so good. I love this sooooo much. It's warm, but it should be for a bit older audience, I think. It's well written, and it's supper sweet. I would recommend it.                                                        

   The next one I want to show you is...Faith Blum!!                                                                                       

                          

                                

Faith Is The Victory is defiantly for older people, but....it is super good. It shows a good lesson. Because, faith IS the victory. We can get through everything through him.                                       

   The next one I want to show you is...Kellyn Roth!!                                                                            

   I REALLy like this book. I think it is for all ages probably, and it's very sweet. I love how the story just captures you, drawing you in. It's a clean book, and I would definitely recommend it.

   Alrighty, the last one I am going to mention is...Jeanette Gilge.

   So, this book is very good, but the thing is, is that it's more of a girl book. I don't think boy's would like it. ;D It shows that God does forgive, no matter what you have done. It shows other things, but If you want to know what it says, well, I guess you will have to read it yourself.

SPECIAL Post

   Alrighty! I'm back! And . . . I am going to do a special post. How 'bout that??? Is that a good idea? Good. Now, my special post is about two book cover, a recipe, and . . . a picture. Alrighty, down to business. Okay, the first thing I am going to show you is TWO book covers, one I have already finished, and the other is one for a new story I am working on. Alright, here is the first one:

   I s it good? I LOVE German Shepherd and some day want to get one. I was wondering, is the word Blitz in a good place? Alright, the second one is . . . this:

   Is this one good? I personally like both of them best, but which one is YOUR favorite? 

   Now I am going to do the recipe. What recipe do you think I am going to do? Hmmm . . . let's see what is chosen . . . Best Ever Pumpkin Muffins! YUMMM.

Best Ever Pumpkin Muffins

Yields : 12 servings, or one pan of muffins

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

2 eggs

1 & 15 ounce can pure pumpkin puree

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
